R is for Ribbon

Good afternoon to you all. Today's card is full of butterflies,  which is perfect for me 'cos I love 'em.
For this I used:
A4 white card folded in half and distressed with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink.
Free butterfly embossing folder. I ran the same Distress Ink over it once embossed. I then embossed a piece of white card again and cut out 2 of the butterflies,  which I mounted on to the embossed piece.
Clear gems
White dotty ribbon
Free sentiment stamp, stamped with the same ink.

I hope you like it and thank you for any comments that you leave.

I would like this card to be entered for the butterfly challenge - R is for Ribbon

Lainie xx

  1. Hello Lainie and welcome to my Butterfly challenge. Love the way you have trimmed your card using the ribbon not quite all round the four sides of the embossed folder. Looks very effective. The embossed background is gorgeous and love that shade of colour. One very elegant card. Thankyou for fluttering by my 1st anniversary challenge#24 hugs Mrs A.

  2. Hi Laine this is a gorgeous card. Hugs Jackie

  3. Love the embossing on this, such a pretty butterfly pattern

  4. Beautiful card, love the dotty ribbon, really makes the butterflies stand out

  5. Hi Lainie, great to see you blogging! I don't understand the circles thing, I clicked to follow but I don't know if I should do anything else. As soon as I see 'circles' I go into 'senior moments' LOL.
    What a gorgeous card :o)

  6. A beautiful card. Love the embossing and delicate colours!
